Shopping
The center of Xi’an offers enough shops to buy the stuff you need. The impressing Kai Yuan Shopping Mall is one of the biggest of Xi’an, but we didn’t find it worth to go there. For the better shopping we recommend you to take the east-street from the Bell-Tower, here you will find a wide variety of shops. Also take a look at the fish-market-street in one of street on your left, for some people it may be disgusting and shocking, but it is without a doubt another impression of China.
Nightlife
Xi’an offers a variety of clubs and bars. However, KTV (karaoke) is still the most popular activity to do for Chinese people. The Bar Street is just at the south of the city wall: called “De Fu Xiangâ€
When you feel like dancing there are several possibilities: 1+1 Club, MGM Club, Pink, BonBon Club, BED Club, Babyface and Salsa Club. All of these clubs are all decorated with style and are comparable to the clubs in Beijing or Europe. Chinese youngsters recommended us the 1+1 Club and the Salsa Club to go to.
