Sights:

Tianchi lake (Lake of Heaven) in the Changbaishan mountains. The lake sits in the crater of a 2000 m high volcano.

The Yalu River flows along the border to North Korea and has been known of since the Korean war, when the Army of the United Nations, controlled by the USA, bombed Chinese territory located beyond the river (at least according to communist propaganda) and the Chinese "volunteer's army" intervened in the war.
