Leshan is one of the holy mountains of China and worth a visit. Main attraction is the big Buddha's statue of Leshan

Sichuan is famous for its spicy food. Semitropical Climate.

Chongqing is the town with the largest population in China

Many travellers just stop by Sichuan on their way to Tibet, in order to get the necessary travel permit.
