Yunnan Province - Introduction

Yunnan province is without a doubt one of the most diverse areas of China. The province mixes mountainous inlands with the tropical forests in the south. While you are impressed by the sunshine, reflected by the ever-lasting snow, you are enjoying a climate of sunshine and comfortable temperatures at the same time. In the south you enjoy the tropical forest with its 18.000 plant species, Asian elephants and the protected Yunnan’s “Golden monkey”. Besides the nature Yunnan also brings 25 minorities with it, which all have their own examples of culture, language and people.
